Welcome to Seasonal Resources

With so much information out there these days, it's often hard to find just what you're looking for, especially in the busy times of the year. In this guide you will find resources for various celebrations throughout the year, including Lent, Easter, Christmas and others, to help you with your services, small groups, events and planning. 

There is a wide range of seasonal resources available.  These pages recommend a variety of books held in the Library as well as some online resources ready to go.

Roots is a monthly publication, published by a partnership of denominations and Christian organisations.  It offers resources relating to the weekly lectionary, for all ages.  It can also be subscribed to online.

General Church Resources Websites

Wild Goose Publications, together with Iona Books, is a great website full of resources for every time of the year. You can purchase eBooks, MP3s and PDFs which are sent straight to your device, or purchase physical copies of books, CDs, and DVDs. 




The Church Leaders website has some brilliant free downloadable graphics for your worship services or semon series, as well as audio, video, and eBook downloads. 




Worship House Media provides mini movies, worship tracks, countdowns, motion and still backgrounds, and seasonal resources for purchase and download. 



SGM Life Words: A website full of resources for the Easter period, including free downloadable videos, audio files, and liturgy.




Church Graphis provides list of places you can find free fonts for your church publications/website/PowerPoints, stock images, backgrounds, and more. 





One of the Life Church websites is Open, which provides free resources for various subjects and seasons, and includes graphics and artwork, music, countdown videos, and message videos. 




Stuff I Can Use is a website that provides free resources created by Southeast Christan Church for a range of topics. It includes graphics for PowerPoints, MP3s for groups to listen to, and general outlines and guides for series. 



The Bible Society New Zealand has a great range of resources, both free and at little cost, for idividuals, churches, church leaders, for groups and more.
